Art Programs for People with a Disability
Story telling through art
Commencing Thursday 21 July 12.30am - 2.30pm 10 weeks (school terms only)
This program gives people with disability the opportunity to create their own original art and crafts, to include puppet making, painting, and sculpting. Participants will explore a range of art forms to improve communication with an emphasis placed on the creative process rather than an end product. The focus will be social awareness, personal expression, communication, and physical dexterity as well as further development of skills and interests.
Cost: $43 per term
Cooking in the Kitchen / Arts
Commencing Tuesday 19 July 10.00am - 2.00pm 10 weeks (school terms only)
Cooking and art for people with a disability. This two - part program gives participants a practical, sensory, hands - on opportunity to create scrumptious, healthy meals together. The second half of the session includes sketching, painting and visual arts.
Cost: $62 per term
Community Choir
Commencing Thursday 21 July 1.00pm - 2.30pm 10 weeks (school terms only)
Singing for people with a disability. Learn simple songs. No singing experience is required. Free your voice and your soul!
Cost: FREE
