SPEAKERS’ BANK
The Speakers’ Bank is a group of DCV members who have been trained in public speaking to talk about the Network and/or their personal experience of living with disability.
Urania Michaelides
Urania explains the effect that Multiple Sclerosis has had on her life and shows listeners how much can be achieved by a person with a disability.
Ian Gray
Ian’s is a tale of the unexpected, recounting how an adventure to start a new life in a new country soon developed into an adventure to start a new life with a disability.
Robyn Hansen
Robyn tells of her story negotiating the public housing sector. With her great sense of humour and natural story-telling ability, she is an enjoyable speaker to listen to.
Jan De Witte
Jan takes us on the journey of a mum with a young son with autism. She describes the challenges and joys her family has faced over the years.
Meegan Pride
Meegan shares a story of a full life surrounded by loving family and friends.
Speakers do not charge a fee to talk to your group, however a donation towards out-of-pocket expenses is always gratefully appreciated. Any donation over $2 is tax deductible.
