The Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre is hosting a forum on Advocacy for carers of people with a disability. It is titled: "Advocacy - The Way Forward". It will discuss issues like the lack of long term suitable accommodation options for adults with a disability and the need for the
National Disability Insurance Scheme. It focuses on different advocacy activities that carers can be involved in, particularly in the lead up to the State Election. The flyer is attached.
