Wheelchair Sports Victoria will be coordinating the 2010 Disability Youth Sports Camp in conjunction with the Australian Paralympic Committee. The camp is open to people aged 20 or under throughout Victoria who have a physical or a sensory disability including Paraplegia, Spina Bifida, Quadriplegia,
Amputees, Birth Defects, Cerebral Palsy and Vision Impairment.
The Camp aims to:
- Increase participation of people with a disability in sport and recreation;
- Educate and promote the benefits of living a healthy and active lifestyle;
- Build self confidence, self esteem and a positive self image
Where: Albert Park Precinct
When: Saturday 9th- Sunday 10th October 2010
