The Browsealoud program is FREE to WRDN members.

All you have to do is download the free plug in and then the computer will read text to you.

The WRDN would like to thank Text Systems UK for their generous donation of a 5 year contract of this program.

Browsealoud is now being used on over 3,000 websites. It is predominantly used by organisations that are keen to make their websites as accessible as possible, particularly for those site visitors with Mild Visual Impairments, Literacy Problems (including dyslexia), and those with English as a second language.

Organisations using the service range from Central Government organisations, Local Authorities, Government Agencies, Financial Institutions, Media Companies, Housing Associations, Universities, Colleges, Schools, National and Local Charities. Browsealoud is a global service, and there have been over 3 million downloads of the service to-date. We have customers in many countries, including the UK, USA, Australia, Sweden, Holland, Germany, Mexico and Belgium.

The following site will provide you with further information on the software:

Copy this plug in address and then paste it into your browser. It will take you to the page to download the actual plug-in.
