Letter to Attorney General re Electronic Voting
An amendment to allow electronic voting to be trialled at the next State elections in November this year is currently being debated in the Victorian Parliament.
The WRDN thinks electronic voting is an excellent idea as it will enable some people to vote independently.
The WRDN wrote to Mr. Hulls as the Attorney
General to ask why this great innovation is only going to be available to people with vision impairments and not anyone with a disability who would benefit from electronic voting.

This project is a partnership between the donor of computers, Microsoft (providing licensed software), Mission Australia (cataloguing stock and building the computers), the WRDN (project management and delivery), WRDN members and community volunteers (installing the completed computers in recipients’ homes).
